1. Who is responsible for your data
Kwansaa Adventure, founded by Dosso Romeo, operating in Liberia and The Gambia, is responsible for the personal data you share with us.

What we collect
Contact details: your name, email address, phone/WhatsApp number.
Trip details: travel dates, destinations, preferences, dietary or mobility needs you choose to share.
Booking details: where needed to make reservations, we may ask for details such as your full name as written in your passport and nationality.
Payment information: payments are processed by PayPal. We never see or store your card or bank details — we only receive confirmation that you paid.
Website data: our website is hosted on Webflow, which may collect standard technical data (such as IP address and browser type) needed to deliver the site securely. We do not run advertising trackers.
3. How we collect it
Directly from you — when you message us on WhatsApp, email us, fill in a form on kwansaa-adventure.com, or book a trip.
4. Why we use it
To plan, book and deliver your trip and any services you ask for.
To communicate with you before, during and after your trip.
To meet legal, tax or accounting obligations.
With your permission, to stay in touch occasionally with news or offers.
You can opt out anytime with one message.We never sell your data to anyone.
5. Who we share it with
Only what is needed, only to deliver your trip:
Our local partners — hotels, drivers, guides and activity providers receive the details required for your booking (for example your name and arrival time).
PayPal — to process your payment.
Authorities — only if the law requires it.
6. International transfers
Because we operate in West Africa and serve travellers from Europe and elsewhere, your information may be processed in Liberia, The Gambia and the countries where our service providers (such as Webflow, PayPal, Google and WhatsApp) operate.
We only use reputable providers and share the minimum necessary.
7. How long we keep it
We keep your booking and contact details for up to 24 months after your trip, unless the law requires longer (for example for accounting).
After that, we delete or anonymise it.
8. Your rights
You can ask us at any time to:show you the personal data we hold about you, correct anything that is wrong, delete your data, stop using it for marketing.

If you are in the EU/EEA or UK, you also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
9. Security
We limit access to your information to the people who need it to run your trip, and we use trusted, access-protected tools to store it.
